It seems from the number of votes that eating out with your kids in Wayland isn't necessarily a common practice.
Still 55 of you did weigh in and the Cochituate mainstay came out on top as the best place to take the kids for dinner out in Wayland.
J.J. McKay's earned 27 percent of the vote and came in second, earning 16 percent. What is it that makes J.J. McKay's the winner in your book? Is it the kids' menu, the prices, the atmosphere? We'd still ike to hear from you in the comments.
The Cochituate restaurant and pub boasts an Irish theme with a kids' menu ranging from mac and cheese to chicken breast with mashed potatoes and carrot sticks. All items on the kids' menu come in at less than $6.
We're not sure, however, whether it's the price of the kids menu or the extensive beer, wine and liquor list (probably a combination of the two) that makes J.J. McKay's a favorite for dinner out with the family.
Our hunt for Wayland's best continues next week with a look at where to stock up on candy as you prepare to fill those Easter eggs.
