NSTAR will be in town for a meeting ... and if NSTAR isn't your thing, there are some other meetings to check out.

1. Power Meeting. and residents today at 2 p.m. to discuss planned clearing of a right-of-way running through the Oak Hill neighborhood.

3. School, Recreation, Assessors, Oh My. You have your pick of committee or board meetings to attend this evening with the , , , and all meeting.

4. Speak up. Are you already writing a blog and trying to build an audience? Why not republish your blog posts on Wayland Patch. You can take advantage of our resources and network of readers, but will maintain all the control of a personal blog. Email me if you're interested and we can get you started right away.

5. Protestors Silenced. On June 4, 1989, Chinese troops charged through Tiananmen Square in Beijing, killing and arresting hundreds (or even thousands, according to some reports) of pro-democracy demonstrators. The crack-down led the U.S. to impose economic sanctions

Hi everyone, correction: the Green Team meeting is not this Monday, but will be held NEXT Monday, 6/11, at 4 pm, at the Claypit Hill School. We will be moving homegrown compost from the compost bins to the garden while we meet.
