5 Things: Normal Hours Resume, Town Meeting Warrant and Giving Blood

A few things to keep in mind on Jan. 2, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Transfer Station Hours. The Wayland Transfer Station will be open today to make up for the New Year's Day holiday. The hours are 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

2. Back to Normal. The Wayland Town Building, the Wayland Public Library and Wayland Public Schools are back to normal operations today.

3. Annual Town Meeting Warrant. The Warrant for Wayland's 2013 ATM is currently open. Petitioners have until 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 to submit articles for the warrant.

5. Give Blood. January is National Blood Donor Month. There are several nearby Red Cross blood drives coming up this month including a Jan. 7 drive at Wingate of Sudbury and a Jan. 22 drive at Rivers School ARC Club Weston. Check out RedCrossBlood.org for more info.
