A few things you need to know on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Film Festival. The OARS Fifth Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival will take place tonight in Maynard. There are 14 films in the festival and tickets are $12.

2. Claypit Principal Feedback Sought. Superintendent Paul Stein is collecting feedback for his evaluations of Wayland's school principals. He will be meeting with parents on April 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Claypit Hill for his evaluation of Debbie Bearse. Parents who wish to speak with Stein are asked to set up a time with Carol Reynolds at 508-358-7401 or carol_reynolds@wayland.k12.ma.us.

3. Meeting Tonight. The Finance Committee will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Wayland Town Building. Check out a PDF of the agenda.

4. Find Us on Facebook. Are you following Wayland Patch on Facebook? If not, you could be missing out on up-to-the-minute updates on news important to you in Wayland.

5. Hail to the TV Dinner. It's National Frozen Food Day. The most interesting fact here is that, according to HolidayInsights.com, this is actually a national holiday as declared by President Ronald Reagan in 1984.
