5 Things: Disability Advocacy, Candidate Statements, Meetings and Heart Month

A few things you need to know on Feb. 25, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Career Development and Curriculum. A disability specialist at Northeastern University will be at the Wayland Public Library tonight to discuss how students with hidden and apparent disabilities can utilize the disability services office at their universities to help them achieve their career and life goals.

2. Candidate Statements and Election Letters. Wayland Patch is pleased to publish candidate statements and letters to the editor throughout this local election town meeting season. Send your information to wayland@patch.com. Candidates, remember to include a profile photo.

3. Meetings Today. The Board of Selectmen, Finance Committee and School Committee are among those scheduled to meet tonight. Check out the Town of Wayland calendar for several more meetings as well as the details and agendas for those meetings.
