5 Things: Carolers About Town, Santa's Ride, Mother Goose and Elvis

A few things to keep in mind on Dec. 20, 2012, in Wayland.

1. Carolers Nearby. The Figgy Pudding Carolers will be at Sudbury's Mill Village Shopping Center today to entertain passersby with holiday favorites. The carolers will be around from 5 p.m.-6 p.m.

2. Santa Begins His Ride. The Annual Santa's Ride kicks off today and will take place at various spots around town tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. Check out the schedule and get the camera ready.

3. Mother Goose Time. Infants through toddlers are invited to the library today for storytime from 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m.

5. Even Elvis Gets Drafted. On this date in 1957, Elvis Presley received his draft notice from the U.S. Army. He ultimately served for 18 months in Company D, 32nd Tank Battalion, 3rd Armor Corps in Friedberg, German, according to History.com.
