BARN DANCE AND MYTHICAL BURN
Join us from 6pm-9pm on June 14, 2014 at 43 Old Connecticut Path for our second celebratory BARN DANCE and MYTHICAL BURN. Add some Mechanical Bull Rides, a Pie Eating Contest a Popcorn Maker, and tons of food, provided by our own Stop and Shop: including sandwiches, anti-pasta plates, ice cream delights and a special Old Fashioned Candy Assortment and this spells a fantastic way to conclude our last event of our 365 days of celebrating Wayland.
Bring your kids, grandkids and great-grand-kids for a bit of old fashioned square dancing, called by Tony Parks, and his band.
At dusk the music stops. We all take a seat and take a moment to soak in the peaceful serenity while we look across the pond. We wait in awe, as the Myth Makers set their sculpture, of a Blue Heron, up in flames. As this lights up the dusk sky we are able to watch the reflection of light over the pond.

Soak it in…. as the final moments of Wayland's 375th one year celebration comes to an end. Remember, though it is just the beginning of our new history.
