Hammond Agent Ted St John Joins Board of Wayland Business Association

WESTON, Mass. – April 10, 2014 – At a recent meeting of the organization, Hammond agent and longtime Wayland resident Ted St John joined the Board of Directors of the Wayland Business Association (WBA).

The WBA is an organization of business professionals dedicated to helping Wayland businesses grow and succeed in a buy-local environment. It is a non-profit organization open to anyone with interest in the business and municipal climate of the Town of Wayland. The WBA provides a unified voice for advocacy to the Town of Wayland, opportunities for educational growth and networking, and resources for new and existing businesses looking for community support and civic involvement. Among its many activities, the WBA (www.waylandbusiness.org) provides grants to local civic groups.

St John is an agent who works from Hammond’s Weston office located at 506 Boston Post Road. He is a Wayland native and resident who has always enjoyed being involved in the community through his volunteer work in food kitchens and participation in local charity walks. As a WBA board member, he looks forward to contributing to the future of business both within Wayland and in connection with the surrounding towns.

St John explained, “As a Hammond agent, I constantly outline the benefits of living in Wayland and its neighboring communities to my clients, who are always impressed by the strong community bonds that exist. It’s an honor for me to join the WBA board, especially as an individual with a proud lifetime of ties to the area.”
