Wayland Roots: Taylor Schilling Gets Emmy Nod
Wayland native (well, sort of), gets Emmy nomination for her role as a woman jailbird.
The Netflix smash "Orange is the New Black" grabbed 12 nominations for the 66th Primetime Emmys on Thursday.
Among the nominations is Taylor Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman in the show.
According to IMBD.com, Schilling was born in Boston, and went to Wayland High School before moving to West Roxbury High School in 2002. Her acting credits include Dark Matter, The Lucky One and Argo.
