Patch Reader Photo Feature: Blending of Music at Shir Tikva

Musician Joshua Nelson performed at on June 1 and, according to a caption submitted to Wayland Patch, he had the audience "tapping, clapping and on its feet!"

Temple Shir Tikva Rabbi Neal Gold wrote in his blog that Nelson is "the world's only purveyor of so-called 'Kosher Gospel.'" Gold goes on to explain that Nelson blends influences of "African American gospel music and millennia of Jewish text and soul."
