Floating Band Brings Music, Fun to Dudley Pond
Did you catch the Dirty Water Brass Band floating by on Dudley Pond in Wayland this weekend?
The Dirty Water Brass Band brought its own unique sound to Dudley Pond Saturday for the annual floating concert.
Paddleboarders, kayakers, canoers, row boats, and lawn-chair-on-the-shorers came out Satuday, July 27 for the concert on Wayland's Dudley Pond.
According to an enthusiastic email chain about the event, it was "an absolutely splendid day and splendid performance!"
Additionally, participant Karen Lowery counted "34 kayaks and paddle boards. Five pontoon boats, five swimmers, and various other watercraft," according to her husband, Mike Lowery.
