WHS Freshman Class Will Take that Christmas Tree Off Your Hands

The Wayland High School freshman class is conducting a Christmas tree disposal fundraiser.

Why go to the trouble of dragging your Christmas tree to the Wayland Transfer Station when there's an easier way that is also a good deed?

The Wayland High School freshman class will come to your home, pick up your tree and dispose of it at the transfer station ... all for just $15 ($10 for senior citizens)

On Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the students will be out in Wayland picking up trees from residences that sign up for the service.
