The Buzz: It's back! Another season of the Wayland Winter Farmers' Market will kick off Saturday with plenty of goods and products to browse and buy ... more than enough reasons to hang out in the warmth and comfort of the greenhouses at Russell's.

When/Where: Friday, 8 p.m. at First Parish Church (349 Boston Post Road, Weston)

The Buzz: The Weston High School Town Criers will be joined by the Washington University Stereotypes, in which WHS grad Danny Lamere sings, for this fundraiser. The event will raise money to send the Washington University Stereotypes on their Winter Tour.

When/Where: Sunday, 3 p.m. at Goodnow Library (21 Concord Road, Sudbury)

The Buzz: This duo has been offering unique and skilled performances for more than 30 years throughout North America and Europe. Van Duser and Novick are also frequent guests on NPR's "A Prairie Home Companion" and "All Things Considered."

Colonial 12th Night Celebration

When/Where: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at 33 N Great Rd, Lincoln.

The Buzz: Friends of Minute Man National Historical Park will be hosting a festive 12th Night celebration featuring colonial reenactors and refreshments.

PEEP Science Adventures: Little Builders

When/Where: Drop-in beginning Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Children's Discovery Museum (177 Main St., Acton)

The Buzz: Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to explore structure and design while building with a variety of materials. What works best for toy-car bridges? What about action figure towers? Come find out!
