Wayland's Own Iron Chefs Are Coming

Mary Antes submitted the information below about the upcoming Wayland Iron Chef competition at Sandy Burr Country Club.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Iron Chefs are coming! And they are bringing fun, scrumptious food, good-natured competition, prizes and surprises!

Who are these Iron Chefs? They are teams of three master grillers from groups such as the Dudley Pond Association, Wayland Business Association, Sudbury Valley Trustees, Public Safety Department and the Wayland Neighbor Brigade. Each team prepares an hors d’oeuvre and an entree using both known and mystery ingredients in a timed competition.

These creations are then judged by professional chefs based on creative use of mystery ingredients, taste, presentation and other criteria. If you were a member of a team, what ingredients would you bring to the competition if you knew only that you would be provided with chicken, steak and a box of mystery ingredients?
