How Do I Register for the 17th Annual Dudley Pond Run?
Register for the 17th Annual Dudley Pond Run before Sept. 14 and receive a discount.
The 17th Annual Dudley Pond Run will take place Sunday, Sept. 22 along the shores of Dudley Pond in Cochituate.
Last year, more than 200 people participated in the day's 5K Run, 2-Mile Walk, Fitness Walk and Kids' Fun Run.
The event benefits the Dudley Pond Association, which uses raised funds toward the preservation of the quality of Dudley Pond and to fight invasive pond weeds.
All events start and end at Mansion Beach, located at Lakeshore Drive and Mansion Road. The start times are as follows:
- Fitness Walk starts at 10:30 a.m. (casual, scenic walk led by personal trainer, Sylvia Green).
- Kids Race starts at 12:30 p.m.
- 5K Run starts at 1 p.m.
- 2-mile walk starts at 1 p.m.
The day's events will conclude with refreshments, music and prizes back at Mansion Beach.
Registration for the events is now open and discounts are available for those that register before Sept. 14. Additionally, the first 50 registrants will receive a free event T-shirt and massage care will be available for all participants.
