(UPDATED) Get Out: Alpacas, Fire Trucks and Boot Camp

Why Go: This event is geared toward children, but what adult wouldn't like to take a closer look at fire trucks, too?

When/Where: Saturday at 10:45 a.m. Meet at the parking lot. 107 Concord Rd, Wayland.

Why go: As part of Moving Planet, Transition Wayland has planned this walk to Walden Pond before hopping a train into Boston for the Moving Planet: New England event.

When/Where: Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Wayland Town Beach, 25 Parkland Drive, Wayland.

Why go: Middle and high school school studetns can learn about crew from experienced rowers with the Wayland-Weston Crew Team. Plus, there are pancakes involved.

Pricing: $10 per person/rower; $20 per family (Breakfast only), / $30 per person (Breakfast & Learn to Row)

Twillingate Farm Alpacas Open House for National Alpaca Farm Days

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Twillingate Farm, 136 Hudson Road, Sudbury

Why Go: Tour the farm, meet the alpacas and buy some clothing to keep your toes warm.

Bonnie's Bootcamp Memorial Workout & Family-Friendly Benefit

When/Where: Sunday 10 a.m. at Haskell Field, 40 Fairbank Road Sudbury

Why Go: One-hour of sweating to a live DJ. Plus, there will be vendors, big raffle prizes and games for the kids. All to support the NYU Langone Medical Center and its research on ovarian cancer.

Pricing: $25 workout donation pre-registered. $30 workout donation day of event. 

17th Annual Weston Antique Car Show

Where/When: Saturday at 10 a.m. at , 11 Townhouse Road, Weston

Why Go: Treasured antique and classic cars, with proceeds going to the Weston & Wayland Rotary Clubs.
