Big Book Move Coming to Wayland Library

Be prepared for a flurry of activity at the Wayland Public Library later this week.

The Wayland Public Library this week is doing a bit of shuffling when it comes to some of its collection.

On Aug. 7 and 8, staff will be moving several categories of books to new homes.

According to a press release, some of the most popular nonfiction categories, including cooking, home improvement, health and arts & crafts will be transitioned to the main floor for easier access.

In addition, the library is gearing up for a new teen area to be designed this fall thanks to a $15,000 "Serving Teens and Tweens" grant awarded by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

The library will remain open throughout the move, but the press release asks that visitors be patient with the process.
