5 Things: Grand Opening, Archery Course, Population Skyrockets
A few things you need to know on Friday, July 12, 2013, in Wayland.
1. SATURDAY. Citizen's Bank will be holding a grand opening celebration Saturday at its Wayland Town Center location inside Stop & Shop. Details here.
2. Farewell Dr. Tutwiler. Wayland High School Principal Pat Tutwiler announced his resignation in late June. Wish him well during a going away party Monday, July 15 from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at Wayland High School.
3. Golden Arrow Archery will begin its summer program in Wayland on July 15. Sign up for the one-week course and learn more on the Golden Arrow website.
4. Just a reminder that the Wayland Public Library is operating on summer hours now. That means it is closed on Sunday.
5. Year of Wayland Trivia. From 1950 to 1960, Wayland's population skyrocketed from 4,400 to 10,000.
