5 Things: Free Concert, Energy Meeting, Kids Craft and More

A few things you need to know for Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Wayland.

1. The COA Free Concert Series is back! On Wednesday, the Wayland Council on Aging will welcome the Sudbury Valley Trustees New Horizons Band for the first outdoor concert of the season. The free show starts at 7 p.m. behind Wayland Town Building.

2. The Energy Initiatives Advisory Committee meets Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., also at town building.

3. Children ages 4 and up are invited to the Wayland Public Library today at 3 p.m. for a Drop-In Nature Craft

4. ICYMI: The Wayland School Committee and the Wayland Teachers Association have reached a multi-year collective bargaining agreement.

5. Year of Wayland Trivia. In 1978, for the first time a Reform Jewish Congregation held services at First Parish. In 1981, Shir Tikva acquired a home of its own.
