5 Things: Canceled COA Talk, Water Workshop, Morning Meeting and More
A few things you need to know for Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Wayland.
1. Water Workshop. It's waterbugs week for the OARS Water Wise Workshop 10 a.m. at Cochituate State Park.
2. COA Brunch Buffet RESCHEDULED. Due to scheduled parking lot repaving at Wayland Town Building, the talk on Practical Suggestions for Safety and Comfort at Home along with the brunch buffet has been canceled.
3. Morning meeting. The Economic Development Committee is meeting at 8:30 a.m. The Riverside Development continues to be up for discussion.
4. The Board of Selectmen will meet again tonight. They will accept orders of eminent domain related to decisions made at Town Meeting. There will also be executive session related to litigation with Twenty Wayland.
5. Year of Wayland Trivia. In 1775, future president and founding father, John Adams, stopped at Reeves Tavern on Old Connecticut path. It is now a private residence.
