Wayland/Weston hockey head coach Kevin Cleary and assistant coach Megan MacDonald are pleased to announce that junior Gianna Fargnoli and freshman Morgan Griffin were selected as 2013-14 Merrimack Valley Conference/Dual County League (MCV/DCL) first team all stars. Senior Patty Atkinson and sophomore Caroline Goguen were honorable mention. All four were captains for the 2013-14 season. “At the beginning of season I knew that with leadership and hard work we would be able to get back to the play-offs” said Cleary. “Gianna, Morgan, Patty and Caroline provided that leadership and our team responded well by making the post season tournament. I am happy that the MVC/DCL recognized our player’s accomplishments”.
