Wayland Winter Farmers' Market Opens January 11th


The Wayland Winter Farmers' Market begins on January 11.  Enjoy fresh greens, root vegetables, cheese, eggs, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, honey, beeswax products, maple syrup and wine, all from local farms.  In addition, you will find baked goods, fresh pasta, sauces, jelly, bagels, pickles, salsa, olive oil, lobster and fish.  Hot coffee, tea and fresh juice and many prepared foods are available for you to enjoy while you sit in the plant-filled greenhouse at Russell's Garden Center.  Special Events include: Massachusetts Farm Wineries Day (February 1), New England Farm Cheese Day (March 8) and two Farm Fiber Days (yarn and fiber) Days (January 25 & February 22).  Details for workshops, author appearances and free demos can be found on the 'Wayland Winter Farmers' Market' Facebook page.
