Parmenter Home Care and Hospice Offers Flu Clinic December 11th

National Influenza Vaccination Week is December 8 through December 14.   Parmenter wants to help keep you healthy and will be offering flu shots to adults on December 11th from nine a.m. through noon. Influenza activity is low in the United States, but is expected to increase in the coming weeks. Yearly vaccination is the first and most important step in protecting against flu. Flu vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors' visits, missed work due to flu, as well as prevent flu-related hospitalizations and deaths. If you have not received your flu vaccine yet this season, you should get one, now. Parmenter will be offering flu shots at the Parmenter office located at 266 Cochituate Road in Wayland on December 11 from nine until noon.  You must be 18 or older.  Please bring your insurance card and your insurance will be billed. There will be no additional charge. If you have questions or concerns, please call Phyllis, the Parmenter Public Health nurse at 508-358-3000, ext. 237.

Parmenter is your local nonprofit provider of community health care:  home care, bridge program, hospice care, and hospice residence. Serving Wayland for more than 60 years.
