Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare is pleased to announce the opening of a practice in Wayland, MA

Wayland —Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare is pleased to announce the opening of a new primary care office, Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Wayland. Dr. Rachel Haims, Dr. Jonathan Smith and Dr. Linda Tsai are seeing patients in a brand new facility located in the heart of Wayland Town Center at 109 Andrew Avenue. This represents Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare’s 30th location and continues its aggressive expansion phase with 8 new practice locations opened in the past 24 months.

”We are thrilled to bring to our community the high quality of care you expect from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center” said Dr. Rachel Haims, Medical Director of Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Wayland. “I am so proud of our outstanding, compassionate and dedicated team.”

A long-time Beth Israel Deaconess physician, Dr. Haims joins the Wayland practice from Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chestnut Hill where she has practiced internal medicine for more than 10 years. Dr. Haims earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, completed her internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Haims’ clinical interests are preventative medicine and weight management.

Dr. Jonathan Smith also joins the Wayland practice from Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chestnut Hill where he has practiced internal medicine for more than 9 years. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence. He completed his internship and residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. He is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Smith’s clinical interests are preventative medicine, gastroenterology and men’s health.

Dr. Linda Tsai has more than 15 years of experience as a primary care physician, most recently practicing at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Needham Village. Dr. Tsai earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Rochester Primary Care Program in Internal Medicine. Dr. Tsai is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical interests are preventative medicine and nutrition.

All three physicians are welcoming new patients to Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Wayland and will coordinate any specialty care you require. Internal medicine services will be provided at the Wayland practice while patients in need of hospital-based care will be treated locally at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham. For more complex procedures, the practice offers seamless connections to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
