A lot of people make new year's resolutions that include exercise and diet. Unfortunately, that often follows a period of overeating and under-exercising from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. This year, give yourself a head-start on your resolutions, and you will love the results.
Exercise: The holiday season is fun, but can be very stressful for people who are working, planning parties, purchasing gifts, and more. This is when you need to exercise the most. Exercising consistently this month will help you de-stress, burn more calories, sleep better, and have more energy. Try to sweat every day!
Diet: Holiday parties often have a lot of food, and much of it is high in fat and calories (think lasagna, egg nog and brownies). Enjoy the party, but don't use it as an excuse to eat poorly. Eat sensibly and you will feel proud of yourself, and set a good example for others.
Get a head start on resolutions this year, and you will feel great about yourself by ew Year's Day. Have comments or questions? Contact me at BodyScapes 508 358-9160 or email me at estutman@one2onebodyscapes.com
