In this column, you ask questions, and Patch finds the answers.
It's been some time since we talked about what stores to expect to fill the pastel-colored buildings taking shape at Wayland Town Center.
Understandably, you're curious. So curious, in fact, that Patch has fielded several emails, a phone call or two and even a few conversations at Starbucks on the topic.
Well ... drum roll, please ... we tracked down some answers.
Town Planner Sarkis Sarkisian said Stop & Shop and Bertucci's are expected to open before Thanksgiving. The rest of Phase I, he expects will open soon thereafter.
The 12 affordable housing apartments will also be available very soon.
Here is a list of tenants on-board for the first phase of the project.

- Bottled of Wayland. Selectmen granted the alcohol license for this business just a couple of weeks ago.
- The Local. Sarkisian said this Newton-based gastropub will feature outdoor dining. Click on the link for our Bites Nearby feature of the Newton location.

The tenant list is not yet available, but Boston Sports Club was originally expected to fill a health club space. BSC is no longer expected to become a tenant, but another health club is likely to take its place.
Additionally, Sarkisian said a medical center will be part of a later phase, though the exact company has not yet been released.
