Wayland Wakes Up to a Winter Wonderland

Wayland joined most of the state in waking up to a snowglobe scene Wednesday morning.

Surprise! It snowed while you slept last night.

Wayland Public Schools are in session and it looks like most local businesses are open as well, but if you know of a closure, please add it in the comments below.

The latest update from WHDH reports that the accumulating snow will end around noon for the Wayland area, after 3-5 inches have piled up along and west of I-95.

It looks like the evening commute will be wet, but not snowy. Overnight, however, the temps are expected to drop well below freezing so be watchful for ice.

What are you seeing in your own backyard and neighborhood? Wayland is beautiful in the snow. Upload your photos and videos as we build our snow gallery.

And as you're out and about today, tell us in the comments what roads and sidewalks need some attention and where they have been cleared.
