Wayland Falls to Sudbury in Fifth Annual LWV Civics Bee

For the third year in a row, Wayland came up short in the annual League of Women Voters Civics Bee.

When it comes to history, Sudbury knows best.

The team from Sudbury claimed Sunday's League of Women Voters Civics Bee title, beating out teams from Wayland and Weston for the third year in a row, according to a press release from the League of Women Voters.

The annual competition, now in its fifth year, tests the knowledge of teams comprised of middle school students, high school students and adults when it comes to state and federal government. Because Wayland, Sudbury and Weston are all celebrating or preparing for milestone anniversaries, this year's bee also featured questions about local history.
