Trial Date Set for Wayland Selectman

Selectman Joe Nolan is accused of violating a restraining order.

The court has set a trial date in the case of a Wayland selectman accused of twice violating a restraining order.

During a pre-trial conference Tuesday at Framingham District Court, Joe Nolan learned he will be in court July 25 for trial.

Nolan is accused of violating a restraining order restricting contact with one of his three children. The March 4 when Nolan dropped off his older son in a neighbor’s driveway and came within the 100-yard boundary established by the order.

The about two weeks later when Nolan dropped off the same son with an ice cream cone that the older sibling then gave to the party named in the restraining order.
