Shopping Local for the Holidays: The Wayland Depot

The Wayland Depot offers an array of holiday gifts ... all for a good cause.

The Wayland Depot is open for business this holiday season and could be just the thing for that unique gift with the added bonus of funding a good cause with each purchase.

The Wayland Depot has been around for more than 30 years as a charitable organization that strives to "help support women in their homes who make handcrafts and to donate the proceeds of the sale of those handcrafts to charity," according to the shop's mission statement.

The gift store stocks everything from handcrafted scarves and jewelry to bowls and home decor.

Local jeweler, Christine Faucher of Sudbury, is currently displaying earrings for teens and adults that feature glass beads, Swarovski crystal, and sterling silver ear wires.

The Wayland Depot is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Great place to get local items. You can also get Boosters items there - Wayland sweatshirts, water bottles, etc. I highly recommend the Depot!
