Road Closures for Wayland Memorial Day Parade
The Wayland Police Department provided the information about these road closures for the Memorial Day parade.
The Wayland Police Department wishes to advise the public that there will be temporary road closings in place in the Main Street area of Wayland on Memorial Day, Monday May 30, due to the Memorial Day parade. ().
The parade will commence at Wayland Middle School at 11 a.m., proceed south on Main Street (Rte. 27) to Commonwealth Road (Rte. 30) where it will proceed west to Lakeview Cemetery.
From 10:50 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m., Main Street (Rte. 27) from WMS to Rte. 30, and Rte. 30 from the Main Street (Rte. 27) intersection to Lakeview Cemetery will be closed. Limited detours will be in place.

After the Memorial Day ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery, there will be road closures on Pemberton Road, West Plain Street and Main Street from approximately 12:30 p.m. until 12:50 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid this area if at all possible.
