Poll: Very Superstitious?

It's Friday the 13th, the unluckiest day of the year for some, but do you care?

Today will be a rough day for paraskevidekatriaphobics out there. That's right, it's Friday the 13th, the day that strikes fear into the superstitious and gave rise to its own horror movie franchise.

But it's hardly the only popular superstition. Patch wants to know what you're superstitious about. Black cats, ladders, something else?

Whatever it is, be careful out there today! Oh, and check out our "13 Things You Need to Know about Friday the 13th" from last year's dire day.

I'm horribly afraid of trolls; especially those with ten different screen-names. I'm so easily fooled that there really are ten different people with the same absurd opinions. And the same tourettes-like alliterative writing style.

Ha! Let's hope the trolls stay under their bridges on Friday the 13th. (For more on "trolls," check out our "Let's 'Be Nice on the Internet' This Week" article: http://patch.com/A-pZhp)

An American scientist once visited the offices of the great Nobel Prize-winning physicist, Neils Bohr, in Copenhagen, and was amazed to find a horseshoe was nailed to the wall over his desk.

The American said with a nervous laugh, "Surely you don't believe that horseshoe will bring you good luck, do you, Professor Bohr?"

Bohr replied, "No, but I'm told it works even if you don't believe in it."

I wouldn't say I'm superstitious, just a little stitious.

Seriously, greatest photo ever. I don't know if this is a superstition but I'm always cautious about 'jinxing' myself. Like, if I haven't been sick in awhile, I refuse to say it out loud. It might not be a superstition, but it sure is ridiculous.
