Planning Board Seeking Applicants for Design Review Board

Applications will be accepted until June 15.

Town Meeting in April approved the creation of a Design Review Board for the town of Wayland that will "review building designs, site plan approval, special permits, signs and variance applications for all non-residential uses involving new commercial construction."

"The process represents a community effort to enhance our commercial districts and surrounding neighborhoods," reads a press release. The draft review guidelines are available on the town website.

Wayland's Planning Board was charged with appointing five members to the new Design Review Board and is now accepting applications from interested Wayland residents.
