Pedestrian, A Minor, Struck in Wayland

A pedestrian was struck on Commonwealth Road and Main Street Sunday night.

Updated, Sept. 4, 5:30 p.m.: According to fire officials, the minor was taken by ambulance to Framingham Union Hospital for basic life support following the accident. (More serious injuries would have been categorized as "advanced life support.)

There were no arrests made following the accident, and if any charges will be brought against the driver is unknown at this time, police said.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Commonwealth Road and Main Street around 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 2. The pedestrian is a minor and was conscious and alert. The minor was treated on scene and was brought to the hospital.
