Bites Nearby: Which Chain Can You Not Live Without?
This week's bite asks the tough question: If you were stranded on a deserted island, which of these four chain restaurants would you choose to be on the island with you?
As we have been running a weekly restaurant highlight, and most of them consisted of locally owned and operated businesses, we thought we'd take a bite out of the chain restaurants in the area.
Out of these four chains, which would you choose to be stranded on a deserted island with?
Acton:
Bickford's Family Restaurant – If you're in the mood for breakfast no matter the time of day, Bickford's offers a family friendly dining experience and a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Bickford's is located at 20 Nagog Park, Acton.
Sudbury:
Friendly's – You can't go wrong with this traditional dining spot. With the recent closing of several Friendly's in the area, Sudbury's Friendly's is still serving their classic dishes, ice cream and family friendly dining at 457 Boston Post Road, Sudbury.
Natick:
P.F. Chang's China Bistro – Is there anyone out there that doesn't like Chinese cuisine? P.F. Chang's is located on 1245 Worcester St., Natick, and offers a wide variety of land and sea dishes and a "Happy Hour" from 3 to 6 p.m.
Waltham:
Bertucci's – Ah, pizza. Certainly can't go wrong being deserted on an island with pizza. Located on 475 Winter Street, Waltham, Bertucci's offers great thin crust pizza and all types of Italian dishes.
