A few things you need to know on Friday, March 22, 2013, in Wayland.
1. Annual Town Meeting Update. The latest update on business related to Wayland's Annual Town Meeting was posted on March 21. Check out the update on the Town of Wayland website.
2. Earth Hour. It's coming up on Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. This is the hour that people and business around the world volunteer to turn off their lights for one hour in solidarity for the planet.
3. Great Decisions Tackles NATO. The Wayland Public Library tonight will host the next talk in the Great Decisions series. This talk will focus on NATO and how its agenda has evolved since the end of the Cold War.
4. MCAS Schedule Reminder. Tuesday's snow storm caused the state's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to postpone the MCAS English Language Arts Composition test for all the state's 4th, 7th and 10th graders. That test will now be administered on Monday, March 25.
