2012 Reflections: Friends, Loved Ones We Lost This Year

We're spending time this week looking back on some of the stories that impacted Wayland in 2012.

In 2012, Wayland lost some truly remarkable people who touched lives next door and lives around the state ... and even the country.

In this edition of 2012 Reflections, we're looking back on the legacies of these special Waylanders that we lost too soon. We know a legacy will never take the place of the person, but it reminds us all of how wonderful it was to have known these people for even a few moments.

- John Turchinetz (Patch did not do a "legacy" article following Turchinetz's death; however, Patch was there for his 2012 retirement from his position as Wayland's veteran's agent. That article, we feel, does exemplify elements of his legacy. His obituarty is also available.)
