Wayland/Weston Girls Varsity Hockey Team Supports Norwell High School’s 'Clippers Rally for Calle'

On Dec. 8, the Wayland/Weston captains and coaches greeted the Norwell Clippers prior to the start of their scrimmage to show their support for the “Clippers Rally for Calle.”

Caroline “Calle” Cronk is a 5-year-old Norwell girl who is battling cancer. The Wayland Weston girls presented the Norwell captains with a signed hockey stick and Wayland-Weston hockey jersey for Calle.

This season the Norwell girls’ varsity ice hockey team
is raising funds and awareness to benefit research into Calle’s rare and aggressive brain tumor, called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. For more information please go to the Clippers Rally for Calle Facebook page.
