Help Interview 'Agents of Change' on Friday

  • May 16, 2012

Wayland High School history teacher David Gavron is asking for parents and community members to help his sophomore students complete a class project.

The fifth annual Agents of Change Festival will take place Friday, May 18 from 7:30 a.m.-9:45 a.m. in the media center at Wayland High School.

During the festival 32 of Gavron's College Old World/New World History students will assume the characters -- in dress, speech and as much knowledge as possible -- of various historical people, places, ideas, events and more that affected great change in the world.

The community help comes in as audience members meet and ask questions of the students, testing each student's knowledge of his/her particular agent of change.

Thomas Jefferson, Queen Elizabeth and more will be in attendance. No experience is necessary to be an "interviewer."

If you have questions or are interested in helpsing, please contact Gavron at David_Gavron@Wayland.K12.ma.us or 508-358-3726.
