Council on Aging Brown Bag Lunch Series Continues
The Wayland Council on Aging continues the Brown Bag Lunch series Oct. 18 at noon, with a visit from Vivien Li, president of the Boston Harbor Association.
A release from the Council on Aging calls Li "a visionary who has balanced private and commercial interests to promote a clean, alive and accessible Boston Harbor." Li spearheaded efforts to develop the Harbor Walk, which links the water's edge to Boston's open space system.
Li is the second in a series of three brown bag lunches, the first of which featured Fox25 meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz.
The event features a roundtable discussion with appetizers and dessert provided by the COA to supplement attendees' brought-from-home lunches.
The cost is $10 for this and the third Brown Bag lunch. The thrid guest speaker is to-be-announced.
